The AIA’s National Women’s Leadership Summit is a premier leadership experience that brings together the industry’s largest network of women—supports and empowers women on their leadership journeys by challenging traditional thinking, breaking down barriers, and exploring new ways to create change in architecture and the allied professions.  StudioMB’s Marquisha Powell and Sasha Petersen were able to share their experiences during their discussion on “The Power of Women: Transforming Educational Equity in Washington DC” by highlighting our work with DC DGS and DCPS at Capitol Hill Montessori at Logan, the Adams Education Campus and Whitlock Elementary School.  Together with Consigli Construction’s Rachael Flynn they presented an engaging take on what DCPS has achieved in maintaining parity across the full portfolio of modernization.
