This entry for an open design competition aimed at re-envisioning an abandoned rail line within the Detroit-Superior Bridge. Steeped in a history of manufacturing that has progressed to a technology based economy, Cleveland faces a lingering memory of the 1969 Cuyahoga river fire. To highlight remediation efforts, we developed a system that ties into existing and proposed improvements while making the bridge a living machine.
