Roper Hall Renovations

American University
Washington, DC

Revitalization of mirrored 1950s structures enhances existing student residences at Roper Hall and coverts Clark Hall's offices into short-term housing for DC based interns. Original finishes, MEP systems, and exterior enclosures were comprehensively upgraded, including the introduction of gender-neutral restrooms and two new elevators designed to fit within the existing structures. Sleeping rooms were upgraded to campus-wide standards, while corridors, lounges, and lobbies were re-imagined with bold colors to differentiate between the two.
