Two related volumes reduce the mass of this new building and better meld it into the natural setting of the park. The larger mass includes an NBA sized court and is paired with a lower and more delicately detailed bar of glass, metal panel and bronze colored surrounds. In addition to the ball court, the interior will offer improved community spaces, a fitness room, and the first of its kind incubator kitchen for DC DPR. Exterior improvements include new playgrounds, community gardens, ball court and turf field.
