This reconfiguration of an existing classroom into a new student and faculty lounge, seminar room and offices balanced the desires of the project donor with those of the department chair, faculty and student representatives. The result is a bright and vibrant space adaptable for lectures, small group study, department events and movie nights. A full width sound partition allows for quick conversion from one setting to another with the flip of the switch, a feature already being praised for its ease of use and effectiveness.
