This 288-acre park in Montgomery County, Maryland’s Ag Reserve includes a new roundhouse for a carousel once located on the National Mall, a water play area and adjacent playground, as well as a skateboard park, picnic pavilions and looped trail system of boardwalks, bridges and paths. The design creates a “Great Lawn” with vistas of historic farmland and stream valleys while integrating site program into the rolling topography of the site.
