StudioMB has completed the conversion of the historic Lunch Room and Oyster Shed at the Washington Fish Market into the jewel of the project. As part of large scale improvements to this treasured setting 1/4 mile from the Jefferson Memorial designed by our firm, these only remaining structures from the original fish market have both been returned to their original use as a unique dining experience at the water's edge of the Potomac River.
Rappahhanock Oyster is a regional company whose mission is to resurrect the native Bay oyster and put it back on the map.
The glass enclosed Oyster Shed has become a bustling and sophisticated bar reminiscent of the structure’s original use as an oyster shucking shed.
