A well attended “Yappy” Hour celebration with treats for dogs and free cocktails for humans (including the “Black Lab” and the “Dirt Dog, No Liar”) marked the opening of the new dog park and bandstand at The Parks at Walter Reed.   StudioMB was pleased to join a gang of four-legged friends and owners to celebrate this initial component of our Arts Park project. At 9,000 square feet, this is one of the largest dog parks in the District, with areas for large and small dogs, agility equipment, comfortable pea gravel, and a doggie water fountain. The area, intended to be the heart of the evolving community, will soon include our conversions of the former Fire Station and Auto Shop into visual and performing arts spaces.
