The hearth, a symbol of celebration and community central to the winter season, represents an architectural antidote to cold, dark winter months. Maureen and co-winner Cooper Jones designed the display to draw passerby’s attention as a warm and colorful exhibit appropriate for the winter season. Jenna Bolino, Staff Designer, assisted the pair with onsite installation.

With immediate visibility from 7th Street NW, in the heart of the bustling Penn Quarter neighborhood, this unique display captures the magic of the holiday spirit with an underlying message of architectural interest.
